You know that feeling when you go to the dentist and you have not even entered the office and you already have a fear, and the tooth pain is gone :). Recently, I have suggested to my friend who is a dentist in Germany,to fix his old dental chairs, and the chairs were really from the era of Communist Germany :) and the chairs were horrible. Of course I did not think how hard would that be, as always I am to euphoric about new project. The hardest work was to dismantled the parts of the chair and the hardest part is to restore that every part of the chair back and afcorse the chair must work like it did before. However, thanks to male support from my hubby, he had dismantle the chair and that was the hardest part and we literally had to writte what goes where, what wire where, what screw where. Here are the photos before and after. Now, I'm sorry that I did not take a photo from my hands before and after work because they were full of blisters and wounds from upholstering chairs.

Small chair (before)
...and the final look of my dentist chair, yes I did it in white and grey and it looks really good ;)
The small chair looks realy good, I did it in white and grey and this grey part is hand carved in white material and then stitched together. And yes, you do not see things like this in dentist office but I think it fits perfectly.
